French Prairie Middle School provides a range of learning opportunities for students in grades six through eight. It offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. The school also maintains a library and provides after-school tutorial programs. French Prairie Middle School's academic curriculum includes math, science, physical education, and language arts.

In addition, it offers Volleyball, Wrestling, Soccer, Football, Basketball, Track, and Field. The school offers guidance counseling, transportation and food services. French Prairie Middle School also provides the English Language Learners program. It offers various volunteer opportunities and nutritional solutions and is managed by the Woodburn School District, which enrolls students in elementary, middle, and high schools.
